Profile

Field of work

I am an evolutionary biologist with a passion for phylogenomics, evolution, and the conservation of biodiversity in various biomes. Throughout my research, I have used ecological data, phenotypic data, and genomic data, to study species facing a changing environment. This has led me to my current position in the BigFoot project. Within this project I will use bioinformatic analyses to study a wide range of taxa in decline across Germany with the goal of identifying universal signatures of population decline.
